Autonomic Testing

As a neuromuscular medicine expert Dr. Yegiaian cares for patients with serious diseases of the nerves and muscles. As such has developed a keen ability to recognize and educate patients about the nature of their disease process.   Often patients harbor fears about how serious their neurological problem is  and Dr. Yegiaian likes to know about any such concerns and address them.

Dr. Yegiaian likes to start her evaluation by a discussion about the symptoms experienced by the patient followed by a thorough neurological examination of the muscles and the nervous system.  Often additional testing is necessary to arrive at a better explanation. She is often asked to perform the  diagnostic tools listed below to help the referring physician narrow the diagnostic suspicion.  In isolation from a careful understanding of the patient's condition the tests below have limited utility.

I work hard to keep the lines of communication open between me and my patients so that you can benefit from the wealth of information taught to me by wonderful mentors & years of scientific advances."
